Canvass Research LLC (“Canvass Research,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your rights regarding that information.
This policy applies to all information collected through our website, questionnaires, email communications, and service delivery.
Information you provide directly:
When you purchase a service or submit a research questionnaire, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and payment information (processed through our third-party payment provider — we do not store credit card numbers).
Your questionnaire may also include information about the procedure you are considering, your preferences, health-related context you choose to share (such as prior procedures or medical conditions relevant to your inquiry), and your travel plans or timeline.
Information collected automatically:

Information from research:
In the course of preparing your report, we research providers and clinics using publicly available sources. This research does not involve collecting additional personal information about you.
We use the information you provide to deliver the services you purchased — specifically, to understand your needs, conduct relevant research, prepare your report, and communicate with you about your order.
We may also use your contact information to send you service-related communications (such as delivery notifications or follow-up questions), respond to your inquiries, and, if you opt in, send occasional updates about Canvass Research’s services.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with surgeons, clinics, or any medical provider.
Some information you share with us — such as the procedure you’re considering or relevant medical history — may be considered health-related. We want to be clear about how we handle this:
We are not a healthcare provider and are not subject to HIPAA. However, we treat any health-related information you share with us with the same care and confidentiality as if it were protected health information.
Health-related information you provide is used exclusively to deliver your purchased service. It is not shared with third parties, used for marketing purposes, or retained beyond the period necessary to deliver and support your service.
We share your personal information only in the following limited circumstances:
Payment processing. We use a third-party payment processor to handle transactions. They receive only the information necessary to process your payment and are bound by their own privacy policies.
Service delivery. If you purchase the Travel Coordination Service and request that we coordinate with translators or travel providers on your behalf, we will share only the information necessary to fulfill those specific requests, and only with your explicit consent.
Legal requirements. We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to deliver your purchased service and for a reasonable period afterward to support follow-up questions and service improvements. After that period, we securely delete or anonymize your information.
For report clients, we generally retain your file for 12 months after delivery, after which it is deleted unless you request otherwise.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include encrypted communications, access controls limiting who can view client files, and secure storage of digital records.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
